Awards & Installation Breakfast
On Saturday, August 9th, District 5 held its annual Awards & Installation Breakfast at the Town & Country Resort. Our Immediate Past District Governor, Gail Lover, recognized the outgoing District team, Division & Area Governors, honored and rewarded all the Distinguished, Select Distinguished and President's Distinguished Clubs, as well as presenting the eagerly anticipated Area Governor, Division Governor and Toastmaster of the Year awards. Following the recognition, Earl Chinn, DTM, PID, installed the incoming team - Area and Division Governors; Lt. Governor Marketing, David Carroll, DTM; Lt. Governor Education & Training, Charley Patton, ACB, ALB; and District Governor, Emily Corcoran, DTM.

The Mission of the District is to enhance the performance and extend the network of Clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters educational program, by:

• Focusing on the critical success factors as specified by the District educational and membership goals.
• Ensuring that each Club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its individual members.
• Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for Club and District Officers.
