District 5 Toastmasters' Accomplishments

Congratulations to the following members
who have earned  communication
and leadership awards for the 2007-2008 year. Each award recipient is helping contribute towards their club's Distinguished
Club Program goals, and District 5's goal of every club Distinguished or Better! They have embraced what Toastmasters
has to offer, and in the process, helped themselves, their club, area, division, and district towards their goal
of being Distinguished. Give them a High-Five next time you see them! See last year's 2006-2007 educational awards.
Remember District Gov, Gail Lover's motto - One Member, One Goal, One More, The Power of One! If
you earned an award last year - earn another this year - or two. If you have earned your DTM, start over and earn
another CC or the new CL award.

District 5 Mission
The Mission of the District is to enhance the performance and extend the network of Clubs, thereby offering greater
numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters educational program, by:
• Focusing on the critical success factors as specified by the District educational and membership goals.
• Ensuring that each Club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its individual members.
• Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for Club and District Officers. |
